Jes Thomas was first exposed to fine cuisine while working in New York City, ordering gourmet foods for picky clients in advertising and public relations. Working in such a global community, she savored foods from around the world. This lead to various means of culinary education through magazines, online videos, and occasional classes from professional chefs. She also took classes at the Institute of Culinary Education covering cooking essentials, bagels, croissants and pretzels. She now has over 20 years of experience, cooking for everyone from busy single executives to catering bridal showers. She appears regularly on WBIR, Ch 10’s Live at Five at Four.
