Private Event Rental Booking Portal

We’re glad you’ve chosen The Central Collective for your event. To complete your reservation:
Please read The Central Collective policies that follow and check the box at the end of the policy agreement outline to confirm your understanding before completing the reservation agreement below.

  1. Fill out the form with your event details and enter your initials before hitting “Submit.”

  2. Once we have received your agreement, we will process your $100 Reservation Fee using the credit card provided on your agreement. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking once we have processed your reservation. Please direct any questions to info@thecentralcollective.com

  3. Your remaining balance will be due 31 days before your event date.

Rental Fees:
$1,000 covers up to six hours in the venue, including any setup/decorating. Additional time can be added for $100/hr, but must be appoved before the rental. This allows us to make sure the staff person will be available for the extra time.

Reservation Fee | Remaining Balance | Damage Policy:
A $100 reservation fee is required to complete your reservation. This non-refundable fee is deducted from your final balance, which is due 20 days before your scheduled event. The reservation fee is not refundable. Your reservation fee not only reserves your date, but also covers Central Collective time spent managing your reservation, securing the space and staff, and preparing for your event.

Reservation fee must be made with a valid credit card, which will be held on file for final payment and in lieu of a damage deposit. Your remaining balance will be charged 31 days before your event. There will be no further charges to your card providing:

a) No damage was done to the property and no Central Collective property is missing. Renters are responsible for any damage caused by guests during their rental to Central Collective property, including, but not limited to: art, furniture, walls/floor, AV equipment, and other items in the space.

b) Renter followed all guidelines outlined in this contract and did not violate any terms of this agreement. Any additional charges accrued during your stay (extra time in space, damage, cleaning, maximum occupancy violations, etc) will be charged to your card on file.

Rental Time:
Rental time reflects total time in the space, including set up and breakdown time. All events must conclude by 12:30 am. Base rate is for a 6 hour rental — you can add additional hours for $100/hr prior to your event. If your event runs later than your end time indicated in the rental agreement below, or you wish to add additional time to your event the day-of, this is subject to staff availability (they may not be available to stay longer than your scheduled time) and you will be charged a $75 late fee + $100 per additional hour in the venue.

Cancellations and Unforeseen Events:
The $100 reservation fee is not refundable, but can be used to reschedule an event up to 365 after their initially scheduled event if notice is given at least 31 days prior to rental date (expires 365 days after initial rental date) and full balance will be due to reserve new date. Any early payments minus the reservation fee that are made before due date will be subject to a 20% processing fee if refunds are required due to cancellation. If a rental is canceled less than 31 days before event after final balance is charged, no refunds will be given and the payment will be forfeited.

If you have to reschedule your event less than 31 days before your scheduled date due to severe weather, family emergencies, or any other circumstances beyond your control, no refunds will be given. Renters may want to purchase event insurance to ensure they will be compensated for their rental fee in these scenarios. If the Central Collective is forced to close temporarily due to circumstances beyond our control, your reservation fee can be used towards a future event and will not expire. If The Central Collective is forced to close permanently due to property damage or business closure, a full refund will be given and renters will be notified as soon as possible.

Capacity:
Capacity for large event rental is 80 people.
Renter is responsible for making sure their event does not exceed capacity.

Arrival, Set Up, and Staff:
Space will be clear when you arrive. Unless you opt for the set-up fee ($50), you will be responsible for setting up tables and chairs as well as any decorations you supply.

A staff member will be on site for the duration of your event to assist with any questions you may have, but unless you have hired Central Collective staff members to help run your event, staff members are not responsible for moving furniture, taking out trash during your event, or any other duties other than the ones outlined below. If you need additional help with your set up, food or beverage service, or other assistance during your event, we are happy to provide as many staff members as you need for $50/hour.

When you arrive, a staff member will be there to let you in and assist with the following:

  • Answer any questions you have while setting up the space

  • Assist with connecting your phone to sound system

  • Show you where any necessary supplies are kept

  • Assist with thermostat / temperature control

The following items are available for your use in the space.

  • 8 six-foot rectangular tables

  • 6 bar height cocktail tables

  • 34 padded folding chairs

  • 4 Metal buckets for ice (renter must provide their own ice)

  • Bluetooth Sound System

Other items:

  • Flat Screen: there is a flat screen tv available in the large space. However, Central Collective staff is not responsible for making sure that your technology works with the television. If you’d like to play a slideshow or video, please make an appointment (click here) at least two weeks before your event to come in and test your equipment with the TV so that you are confident you’ll be able to set it up for your event.

  • Fire Table: there is a fire table located on the deck that staff can assist you with turning on if you would like. If you would like to use it, we recommend bringing a propane tank in case ours has run out.

Decorations, Furniture and Rented Items:
You are free to decorate the space as long as decorations do not damage the space in any way. Any furniture or decorations that you bring should leave with you at the end of your rental— this includes tape, hooks, glitter, confetti or any other items used to decorate the space. Any damage to The Central Collective space, including damage to wall paint, broken items, or other damage will be billed to you.

Rented furniture, glassware, decorations, or other items cannot be delivered or picked up outside of your rental time:
We often have several events over the course of the weekend so rental items can rarely be dropped off early or left overnight after an event— you are welcome to check with us to see if this is a possibility for your event, but it is rare we are able to accommodate rental deliveries or pick-ups outside of your rental time.

Do not move or obscure security cameras— these are required for our event insurance:
The Central Collective encompasses three working businesses and a commissary kitchen in addition to its use as an event space. Do not move or tamper with any items other than those listed above — if you need assistance, ask a staff member. Do not use office supplies, electronic devices, glasses, silverware, paper goods or any other Central Collective property. If you are using outside caterers or other staff, it is your responsibility to make sure they are aware of our guidelines. Caterers/renters should not use any equipment, paper goods or ingredients that they did not bring in themselves other than paper towels and other cleaning supplies.

Alcohol:
Renters are responsible for making sure guests use alcohol safely and responsibly. You are welcome to provide your wine and beer for a self-service bar. If you plan to serve liquor, we require a $100 liquor fee and require an ABC licensed bartender, which you can hire through The Central Collective or an outside service that will be required to provide their licensure prior to the event. The Central Collective staff reserves the right to stop alcohol service at any time. Renters provide their own alcohol, mixers, and ice (there is no ice maker onsite).

Cash bars are only available for groups with a liquor license to sell alcohol or non-profit organizations with an event-specific permit.

Prohibited Items and Activities:
No firearms (regardless of permitting) or illegal substances are permitted on the premises. Failure to comply will result in a $250 penalty charged to the credit card provided in your agreement.

Catering and Kitchen:
You are welcome to bring in your own food or use an outside caterer. Only event hosts and caterers are permitted in kitchen space, with a maximum of 3 people (plus staff) in the kitchen at one time. You are welcome to plate and warm food in the kitchen space and use the oven for warming. Onsite cooking, frying, and intensive food preparation requires a separate kitchen rental before your guests arrive (please email us for additional information if you or your caterer is interested in cooking onsite). You have access to oven (for heating only- no cooking on range) microwave, sink, work areas and designated refrigerator shelves for cold storage. Do not use Central Collective utensils, pots, pans, trays, ingredients or anything else you did not bring into the kitchen. There is not an ice maker onsite or access to freezer space. Ice must be brought in by renter or caterer.

Cleaning and Departure:
General cleaning (breakdown of tables and chairs, sweeping, and taking out trash) is included in your rental. Kitchen clean-up is not included in your rental. Please make sure to factor in time to remove any decorations, food items, and personal belongings you wish to keep at the end of your events. The Central Collective is not responsible for any items left behind at the end of an event rental. You are responsible for making sure you have left the space by your rental end time. Any events that go over specified rental time will be charged a $75 late fee + $100/hr.

Parking:
The Central Collective parking lot is available for your use during your event. Cars left in the parking lot after your event risk getting towed. If you think you will need additional parking, let us know and we can provide you with a map of nearby public parking.

There is an additional $150 fee for rentals on the following holidays to compensate staff for working instead of being with friends and family:

  • New Years Day

  • Easter

  • Thanksgiving / Black Friday
